Amazing location, in the heart of Old San Juan. This is an older property, but decently comfortable.

Rooms are tiny, though the high ceiling makes up for it.

This stay was fine.

Great location, bell hops were very nice and helpful.

Too much wedding activity, the hotel bathrooms were not stocked with soap, the gym had no wipes or cleaning solution, the rooms had small amounts of dirt in the bathroom. Housekeeping never replaced used coffee mugs, and did not throw out empty used cups. Most of the receptionists were very nice, but one person on my last day was rather unfriendly.

The location in Old San Juan is central to restaurants, sightseeing and shopping. The facility is beautiful, especially the interior courtyard. Breakfast has many delicious options.

Good location, best pool, comfy bed BUT lack of vibe/ ambience in the hotel.

Location. Nice room and bed. Wine reception. Best part was the pool on the rooftop.

Lack of energy and vibe. No music or anything that makes the ambient warm or welcoming. Price was slightly high.

Wonderful

Size of the room was perfect and location.

The room was below a terrace and in the early morning there were people who were moving chairs or table and the noise was so loud that it woke us up. It happened in two consecutive night.

The staff, location and restaurants were wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

If you are visiting Old San Juan this IS the place to stay. It’s located on the absolute cutest street with fabulous dining just outside and in the hotel. The location couldn’t be more central. The restaurants inside the hotel (there are 3). We’re shockingly delicious. I had one of the best chicken dishes ever. We were also traveling with our nine month old and everyone in the restaurants were extremely accommodating.

The rooms were on the smaller side and slightly less luxurious than shown in pictures but nice nonetheless and the bathrooms are updated.

Beautiful but did not measure up to the $$$$

Stunning building, incredible location, some nice amenities—we loved the coffee lounge

Paid premium rate for a suite with sofa bed so my (very tall) sons could each have a bed. No linens were provided for sofa bed. When my son asked for linens he was given one blanket — no sheets, no pillows. Internet never worked at all in either room.

Liked the location and history of the place.

It is way over priced for what you get. The breakfast service is incredibly slow. Not enough towels and wash cloths provided.

An overall great experience.

Room was clean and well appointed. Really liked the wine and cheese hour. Staff at this event was very friendly. The outdoor patios were great. We enjoyed the bed turn-down and chocolates when we returned for the evening.

A rug on the floor between beds. I understand it would be harder to clean, but it would have added some warmth to the room. I am used to a little more room but understand architectural restrictions. I did not like the male staff member who asked us to move our seating at breakfast. We did sit at a four top, even though, we were only a party of two. I would have understood if there was a large crown with no open seating, but we were there early with only two other tables occupied. It was just rude.

Perfect, safe, & pleasant vacation; My first in four years since I spent Thanksgiving 2019 here.

Great view, great a/c, and a very sound proof room. All of the staff were exceptional with care and kindness. Especially all of the housekeeping crew, Ricardo the bartender, and Solimar at the Front Desk. I felt well received and cared for during my two week say. 5:00 p.m. Cheese & Wine Hour is a great way to meet other guests, and was attended by the new manager, Mr. Henry Neumann. I have lots of chocolates left over from the nightly bed turning down. The room coffee was great, and housekeeping always kept free cold bottled water in my mini-frig daily.

I'm hoping that the Hotel will expand their recycling programs.
