The staff, location and restaurants were wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

If you are visiting Old San Juan this IS the place to stay. It’s located on the absolute cutest street with fabulous dining just outside and in the hotel. The location couldn’t be more central. The restaurants inside the hotel (there are 3). We’re shockingly delicious. I had one of the best chicken dishes ever. We were also traveling with our nine month old and everyone in the restaurants were extremely accommodating.

The rooms were on the smaller side and slightly less luxurious than shown in pictures but nice nonetheless and the bathrooms are updated.

Beautiful but did not measure up to the $$$$

Stunning building, incredible location, some nice amenities—we loved the coffee lounge

Paid premium rate for a suite with sofa bed so my (very tall) sons could each have a bed. No linens were provided for sofa bed. When my son asked for linens he was given one blanket — no sheets, no pillows. Internet never worked at all in either room.

It is way over priced for what you get. The breakfast service is incredibly slow. Not enough towels and wash cloths provided.

An overall great experience.

Room was clean and well appointed. Really liked the wine and cheese hour. Staff at this event was very friendly. The outdoor patios were great. We enjoyed the bed turn-down and chocolates when we returned for the evening.

A rug on the floor between beds. I understand it would be harder to clean, but it would have added some warmth to the room. I am used to a little more room but understand architectural restrictions. I did not like the male staff member who asked us to move our seating at breakfast. We did sit at a four top, even though, we were only a party of two. I would have understood if there was a large crown with no open seating, but we were there early with only two other tables occupied. It was just rude.

Perfect, safe, & pleasant vacation; My first in four years since I spent Thanksgiving 2019 here.

Great view, great a/c, and a very sound proof room. All of the staff were exceptional with care and kindness. Especially all of the housekeeping crew, Ricardo the bartender, and Solimar at the Front Desk. I felt well received and cared for during my two week say. 5:00 p.m. Cheese & Wine Hour is a great way to meet other guests, and was attended by the new manager, Mr. Henry Neumann. I have lots of chocolates left over from the nightly bed turning down. The room coffee was great, and housekeeping always kept free cold bottled water in my mini-frig daily.

I'm hoping that the Hotel will expand their recycling programs.

I was excellent until...

Great location, beautiful decoration. The room was spacious, the bathroom remodeled and nice. Great ambiance. And I loved the complementary drinks and cheese in the afternoon.

Everything was going great until I saw a small cockroach in my room near the entrance. I stood up and closed my suitcases, backpack etc. Honestly, I just couldn't sleep after that.

Beautiful property, great experience overall!

It was beautiful, great location for shopping, dining, and exploring the city. The staff was always very nice and helped answer all of our questions. The plants and flower pots within the property were all beautiful and made the experience even better!

We are a family of four and had booked a room with two double beds and upon arrival they said they had “upgraded” our room which we were pleased to hear but it was a room with a king bed. I think they oversold the rooms with double beds. They ended up giving us a room with a king bed and a pull out couch which is not what we reserved but was fine. Did not appreciate them trying to see us on the “upgrade “

Wonderful

The location and the whole vibe of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Breakfast is really good, BUT, once you book on booking and choose between continental and American breakfast, then you are locked into it and cannot make any modifications. I was able to switch one day from American to continental, but it was like pulling a tooth. For the price you pay, a little more flexibility would be appreciated, especially considering that I was asking to switch to something less expensive than what I paid for.

Great location - an oasis in the center of Old Town!

Hotel is a bit dated but in a great location. Pool isn't really a pool but more of a "plunge pool" - to me this was fine and it was quiet before 12 each day. Later in day you might feel you were sharing a bathtub with a lot of strangers. Hot tub was nice and good view from roof deck (some umbrellas for shade). Wine/cheese happy hour was great, and hostess was quick and polite. Didn't eat at hotel so I can't comment. Did get drinks - one bartender would bring drinks to rooftop; other one didn't offer (overall service is hit or miss but leans toward quite positive). Bottled water available at all times and there was coffee available all morning at no cost. Great location and staff were great at making dinner reservations. Third time staying there. Beds comfortable - balcony isn't a balcony and bathroom amenities quite limited.

A unique hotel

Large rooms, located in a very good spot in central of old san Juan. Most of the staff are very helpful and the manager is very kind. The wine and cheese are served every fay at 5 pm And it is opportunity to meet more people

Beautiful building and balconies

Conveniently located, lovely building and staff. The small perks are nice - free water bottles, morning coffee, afternoon wine. The restaurants on location are good, but feel understaffed. AC worked perfectly.

The pool is small, in case that was a deciding factor for you. I did Vieques prior to San Juan, so had enough sand and water already.

Newly updated room, quiet hotel.

Happy hour every night was a fun way to meet people. The hotel also has an arrangement with the Courtyard Marriott to use their beach. We did this three days we were there. Uber to Marriott was $12 each way. Marriott provided beach chairs, umbrellas and towels for free. Great arrangement considering the Marriott is 2x the cost of this hotel.

No issues at all. We stayed a week which was probably too long for the area. You can see it all in a few days. Probably would have stayed on another part of the island just for variety.
